I took Colby cat into the clinic this morning for his summer shave down. I just got a call from my Dad to inform me that Colby is now 30 lbs! I thought we had made so much progress from a few years ago
oh my crap! I've watched enough TV to know that whenever there is a show about a morbidly obese person, they highlight the enabler. The parent or spouse or sibling that keeps bringing the morbidly obese person food. Because the obese person isn't getting the food on their own. They have to be lifted out of the house with a crane. Its the horrible enabler thats helping them be obese....because they love them? They always say they love them, and those of watching at home just shake our heads. We say how can they not see this terrible pattern of co-dependency.
See! thats me! I'm Colby's co-dependent enabler.
Looks like we're going back to kitty fat camp. And I'm going to "stop being so indulgent with your fat cat camp"
but look how cute......
who loves him more than me? who knows him more than me? ahhhh....enabler!
I feel like I'm about to be on a special "Intervention" episode for Animal Planet

just give up and get him a throne complete with princess leia doll to lust over.
see? everyone's happy.
maybe he could go do triathlons with Ryan?
This is learned behavior. You picked it up from your Aunt Lisa! Every time she sees our little tiny cat I can see her brain trying to figure out how to fatten her up. She drops hints about Leah's health and how tiny she is but I know she is just thinking that Leah would be so much happier all fat and stuff.
I can chase him with a water gun around the house. Or we could let him go in the nature preserve for a few weeks...
aw but he's so cute.
i like that picture.
Ahh! Miss Dixie knows me too well.
I saw Colby cat yesterday while he was getting his shave. Maybe he weighs less since he lost all the matted fur...but personaly, I think he's just right. And stuff
I love that cat! I'll take him on walks for you. :D
